Principal Cloud Data Architect (Aether Solution Owner)
Tasks
- Architect analytics and reporting storage using Cloud Storage and BigQuery
- Collaborate with product and service managers on platform roadmaps and investment cases
- Define enterprise data fabric vision and target architecture
- Design unified semantic layer for consistent business view
- Develop architecture blueprints for data integration metadata management data governance and data quality
- Guide delivery of robust cloud native data pipelines for batch and streaming ingestion
- Implement everything as code for automated GCP provisioning and management
- Lead adoption of Dataplex for governance metadata harvesting lineage and data quality monitoring
- Mentor technical teams and promote data architecture best practices
- Select and evaluate GCP services and third party services for data fabric components
- Support AI advanced analytics and agentic mesh platform enablement
