Senior Analytics Engineer
Tasks
- Analyze AUM flows adviser productivity client segmentation charging and process performance
- Apply accessible consistent UX in reporting
- Apply data warehousing principles dimensional modelling SCDs and conformed dimensions
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate technical solutions
- Create DAX measures and high quality reports
- Design Power BI semantic models using star schema
- Design data lake datasets for analytics and self service reporting
- Develop self service data capability for business teams
- Ensure analytical assets are secure traceable and reusable
- Identify and resolve data quality issues
- Maintain reusable datasets in SQL Server and Azure Fabric
- Optimize SQL query performance
- Partner with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insight
- Perform testing reconciliation validation and release processes
- Prepare and validate datasets for data scientists
- Use Git for source control and peer review
- Write SQL to extract transform and validate data
