Staff Embedded Platform Engineer
Tasks
- Architect device reliability infrastructure
- Bring up hardware and debug using JTAG SWD and logic analyzers
- Build component test infrastructure
- Collaborate on verification and validation test plans
- Define system power, compute, and communication requirements
- Design and implement reusable platform software
- Develop serial protocols over UART I2C SPI
- Interface with silicon and module vendors
- Maintain documentation of design decisions and APIs
- Own real time Ethernet communication
- Profile power CPU and bus utilization and optimize
- Replace placeholder subsystems with maintainable architectures
- Resolve requirements and hardware documentation ambiguities
- Specify design implement and test bare metal and RTOS firmware
