Tasks
- Collaborate with IT teams for database virtualization and server environments
- Coordinate enterprise storage arrays management
- Design configure deploy and maintain SAN and NAS solutions
- Develop data archiving tiering and storage automation strategies
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Forecast storage growth for capacity planning
- Generate storage utilization performance and capacity reports
- Implement data deduplication and compression
- Implement storage zoning LUN provisioning and volume management
- Maintain storage documentation and reports
- Manage data backup and recovery
- Monitor storage performance utilization and capacity
- Optimize storage performance and availability
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades for SAN and NAS
- Prepare technical recommendations for storage upgrades
- Provide technical support for complex storage problems
- Troubleshoot storage connectivity performance and data integrity issues
