- Architect and evolve data lakehouse and data warehouse layers
- Build ETL ELT frameworks for batch and streaming
- Define and execute data platform technical roadmap
- Design build and operate scalable fault tolerant data pipelines
- Drive DataOps engineering best practices with CI CD automated testing monitoring alerting documentation and performance optimization
- Enable AI ML ready data architecture and reusable data products
- Evaluate and implement new data engineering tools and technologies
- Lead mentor recruit and grow data engineering team
- Manage backlog prioritization sprint planning delivery cadence and stakeholder communication
- Oversee data quality observability metadata governance privacy and security
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver analytics ready data solutions
