Senior Data Engineer I
Tasks
- Architect and maintain GitLab CI pipelines for dbt modeling and deployments
- Automate data governance and access control policies via code
- Collaborate with data scientists BI developers and analytics engineers on data requirements
- Define and monitor SLI SLO and SLA for data pipelines
- Define engineering standards and mentor junior peers
- Design develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL ELT processes
- Develop and maintain data models with dbt including testing and documentation
- Evaluate and evangelize new data engineering technologies
- Implement observability and alerting for data pipelines
- Lead data infrastructure design and implementation
- Optimize data warehouse performance and costs
- Process real time and near real time data with streaming frameworks
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and infrastructure issues
