Space Operations Engineer (Embedded Software)
Tasks
- Develop data ingestion and processing capabilities
- Develop understanding of onboard flight software interfaces
- Execute targeted tasking with multiple sensors
- Implement on-the-fly data corrections with neural networks
- Implement onboard algorithms for high bandwidth data streams
- Improve ground software test processes
- Incorporate command and control schemes
- Model tasking scenarios for satellite constellation
- Optimize camera and optical systems
- Perform trade studies on orbit positioning and maneuvers
- Test operations plans on ground hardware testbeds
- Troubleshoot payload on-orbit anomalies
- Verify and validate tasking plans and spacecraft status
