Senior Data & Analytics Engineer (Europe, 100% remote)
Tasks
- Build dimensional models star schema
- Build scalable ETL and ELT pipelines
- Create customer facing dashboards and embedded analytics
- Create validation scripts unit tests and data quality checks
- Design Lakehouse architecture
- Develop Power BI semantic models and KPIs
- Enable self service analytics with governance
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability
- Implement CI CD testing and versioning
- Implement DAX measures and aggregations
- Implement data product KPI definition
- Maintain consistent trusted metrics
- Migrate reports to clean architecture
- Optimize pipeline performance and cost
- Own end-to-end data platform
- Reverse engineer vendor BI solution
- Set up monitoring and alerting for pipelines and refreshes
