Senior Engineering Manager
Tasks
- Build and lead engineering team
- Collaborate with design customer success sales and support
- Communicate status risks and priorities to stakeholders
- Conduct performance reviews and career development discussions
- Define engineering processes and metrics
- Drive engineering productivity and predictability
- Ensure projects delivered on time and with quality
- Ensure scalability reliability security and maintainability
- Establish engineering best practices
- Guide architecture and design decisions
- Improve CI CD testing observability and release management
- Manage incident response and postmortems
- Manage project planning resource allocation risk assessment and dependency management
- Monitor team health and delivery metrics
- Own execution of engineering roadmaps
- Participate in hiring and technical coaching
- Resolve conflicts and remove blockers
- Review technical proposals and trade offs
- Work closely with product managers on roadmap planning
