Database Administrator - SQL (Early-Morning Shift)
Tasks
- Administer SQL Server environments
- Assist with cloud migrations and modernization
- Build automated monitoring alerting remediation reporting
- Conduct root cause analysis for database incidents
- Develop automation with PowerShell Python T SQL and APIs
- Develop health checks monitoring baselines
- Ensure backup recovery procedures meet RPO and RTO
- Ensure database availability stability performance
- Ensure database security compliance and regulatory requirements
- Implement cost optimization for cloud services
- Implement infrastructure as code with automation frameworks
- Manage Always On Availability Groups and failover clustering
- Manage Azure SQL services
- Manage backup and recovery with Cohesity and Delphix
- Manage database documentation standards and best practices
- Monitor database performance using enterprise tools
- Perform database installations upgrades patching migrations
- Perform query optimization indexing tuning
- Provide on-call support for critical incidents
- Support Azure hosted database workloads
- Support audit and vulnerability remediation
- Support production and non-production systems
- Test backup and disaster recovery processes
