- Apply software engineering best practices including code reviews and test automation
- Automate infrastructure provisioning monitoring and alerting
- Build APIs and platform services for enterprise data products
- Build observability and monitoring solutions
- Design ELT ETL solutions for scalability and reliability
- Design scalable data pipelines for batch and near real time processing
- Develop and optimize data ingestion transformation and data serving frameworks
- Develop reusable Python services and automation solutions
- Ensure data quality governance reliability and operational excellence
- Implement CI CD pipelines for data and application deployments
- Lead data modeling for dimensional relational and analytical structures
- Modernize data platforms tooling and engineering practices
- Provide technical leadership mentor engineers and run architecture reviews
- Tune query performance using execution plan analysis
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries views stored procedures and workloads
