Senior Staff Software Engineer - Data Platform
Tasks
- Build and operate data platform infrastructure
- Design lakehouse and streaming ingestion systems
- Develop data abstractions and SDKs
- Implement streaming ingestion with Kafka and CDC
- Improve reliability performance and developer experience
- Lead design reviews and set engineering bar
- Modernize and harden production lakehouse systems
- Process data with Spark and AWS Glue
- Run rotational on call with incident response and postmortems
- Write design docs and RFCs
