- Advocate for team needs with leadership
- Champion adoption of AI assisted development tools
- Design infrastructure patterns and build vs buy tradeoffs
- Drive work planning capacity management and delivery cadence
- Enforce engineering standards across CI CD pipelines repository testing and deployment
- Ensure observability scalability and resilience of systems
- Establish code review knowledge sharing and technical debate culture
- Integrate ML models and LLM features into production services
- Lead mentor and grow software engineering team
- Measure team impact of AI tools
- Own technical direction architecture decisions and API design
- Review code debug production issues and make architecture calls
- Translate business priorities into engineering plans
