Tasks
- Define data warehouse as a product
- Design build and evolve enterprise data warehouse models
- Detect data drift and identify data quality issues
- Develop AI friendly data assets in Unity Catalog
- Develop and manage external tables streaming tables views materialized views
- Ensure SDLC with version control code review CI CD
- Establish testing framework for data model validation
- Govern secure compliant analytical data for sensitive healthcare data
- Implement data quality tests for accuracy completeness freshness
- Improve models and queries to meet SLAs
- Lead analytics engineering team mentoring and development
- Maintain data architecture in Databricks Lakehouse
- Manage data needs backlog and prioritize high value assets
- Monitor query performance and pipeline behavior
- Provide monthly KPI updates to leadership
- Translate business requirements into KPIs and Gold layer models
- Work with stakeholders to align metrics definitions and assumptions
