Tasks
- Automate DBA tasks with scripting
- Configure and maintain databases
- Create and maintain database documentation
- Create and refresh development testing and production environments
- Design database structures
- Develop backup and recovery strategies
- Implement database security policies
- Install database systems
- Manage database resources and services
- Manage user roles and permissions
- Monitor system performance
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
- Perform root cause analysis
- Plan and execute database upgrades and patches
- Provide technical support to application teams
- Run database backup and recovery using RMAN
