Sr. lead, Infra Cloud Database Engineer
Tasks
- Automate DBA activities using Python and Infrastructure as Code
- Build scalable secure highly available database solutions
- Configure RBAC least privilege access and Key Vault secrets management
- Define reference architectures for Oracle on Azure IaaS and Azure Database for PostgreSQL
- Design Oracle and PostgreSQL platforms on Azure
- Drive change through ITSM and support audits compliance reviews
- Drive performance tuning and capacity planning
- Engineer HA and DR strategies backup restore replication failover
- Implement database security controls encryption at rest and in transit
- Integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines
- Lead incident response root cause analysis and preventive improvements
- Lead on prem to Azure database migrations
- Manage storage provisioning and optimization
- Mentor junior DBAs and promote engineering best practices
- Own end to end lifecycle of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
- Perform upgrades patching configuration and hardening
