- Administer medications
- Assist evaluation of treatment response
- Change IV site dressings
- Collect and label lab samples
- Conduct EKGs
- Coordinate patient care and referrals
- Discontinue venous lines
- Document patient assessment and care
- Ensure patient confidentiality
- Follow infection control precautions
- Handle medication refill requests
- Maintain safe clinic environment
- Manage medications and immunization documentation
- Monitor and adjust IV flow rates
- Obtain chief complaint information by phone
- Organize exam and treatment rooms
- Perform focused nursing assessment
- Perform nursing duties within scope
- Perform phlebotomy
- Provide injections
- Review patient records before provider visit
- Room patients and prepare for examination
- Start IV therapy when certified
