LVN, Wound Care Nurse - WellMed Specialists for Health: Crockett Park
Tasks
- Administer injections
- Change IV site dressings if certified
- Collect and label laboratory samples following CLIA
- Coordinate patient care with providers and RNs
- Discontinue venous lines if certified
- Document patient assessments in medical records
- Handle medication refill requests
- Maintain clinic safety following OSHA standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality following HIPAA
- Manage medications and immunization documentation
- Monitor and adjust IV flow rates if certified
- Obtain chief complaint and symptoms by telephone
- Organize exam and treatment rooms
- Perform EKGs
- Perform focused nursing assessment
- Perform infection control precautions
- Perform medication administration
- Perform nursing duties within scope of Licensed Practical Nurse
- Perform phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations
- Prime IV lines if certified
- Review patient charts and reports before provider visits
- Start peripheral IV lines if certified
