Cloud Operations Engineer
Tasks
- Automate monitoring and troubleshooting tasks
- Contribute documentation for troubleshooting workflows and SOPs
- Coordinate global cloud operations team for uptime guarantees
- Diagnose live incidents and differentiate platform vs usage issues
- Escalate major outages to leadership
- Identify improvements for applications powering atlas infrastructure
- Monitor and detect customer facing incidents
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation
- Perform root cause analysis after incident recovery
- Proactively resolve emerging incidents
- Scale cloud operations processes and tools
- Scope design and deploy incident reduction systems
