Data Engineer
Tasks
- Collaborate on reporting forecasting and business intelligence needs
- Design and build scalable data pipeline solutions
- Develop data transformation processes and data models
- Educate stakeholders on data capabilities and limitations
- Enable self service data discovery
- Establish data quality testing frameworks
- Evaluate and improve pipeline performance and reliability
- Evolve orchestration tooling
- Inherit existing ETL ELT pipelines
- Integrate analytics event tracking and reporting into products
- Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot data quality issues
- Optimize query performance and resource utilization
- Own data governance documentation lineage and version control
- Provide data engineering guidance and recommendations
- Translate business questions into queryable data structures
