Tasks
- Build data ingestion transformations and loading processes
- Collaborate with data architects on logical and physical data models
- Design ETL/ELT pipelines
- Develop dimensional data models using star schemas
- Extract and ingest data from REST APIs and relational databases
- Implement Snowflake databases schemas tables views streams tasks stages stored procedures
- Implement data quality controls and monitoring
- Ingest semi structured data from flat files and cloud storage
- Maintain documentation for pipelines and data models
- Monitor pipelines and resolve production incidents
- Optimize Snowflake workloads and SQL queries
- Recommend performance and cost efficiency improvements
- Support Snowflake integration with Azure services
- Support data governance and security compliance
