Tasks
- Build Power BI dashboards reports and alerts
- Build and maintain semantic models for analytics
- Design data warehouses and lakehouses in Microsoft Fabric
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
- Document and update processes and standard operating procedures
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance controls
- Monitor data loads for completeness freshness and integrity
- Optimize data platform compute usage
- Perform production system closing procedures
- Set up secure data access using Microsoft Entra ID groups and role based access control
- Support ad hoc reporting and data requests
- Transform validate and move data using Python and SQL notebooks
- Translate data issues into business friendly language
- Troubleshoot data issues and resolve tickets
- Use GitHub and DevOps practices for version control and deployments
