Data Platform Engineer
Tasks
- Administer and maintain Cloudera CDP clusters
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible
- Conduct capacity planning
- Deploy Cloudera CDP clusters
- Ensure platform compliance with governance and regulatory standards
- Implement operational automation and CI CD workflows
- Integrate LDAP or Active Directory
- Maintain system documentation and SOPs
- Manage Hadoop configuration and patching
- Manage security controls including Kerberos TLS and role based access control
- Monitor platform health and troubleshoot issues
- Optimize Hadoop ecosystem services
- Perform cluster upgrades
- Support on-call operations
- Test disaster recovery
