Data Platform Operations Service Manager
Tasks
- Collaborate with data governance and architecture stakeholders
- Coordinate release management for data engineering products
- Define and track SLAs SLOs and KPIs
- Define standardized onboarding frameworks and runbooks
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Ensure 24 7 monitoring alerting and response
- Ensure security regulatory and validation compliance
- Lead incident and outage stakeholder communication
- Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents
- Maintain SOPs runbooks and knowledge repositories
- Maintain incident problem change and release management
- Manage disaster recovery and resilience planning
- Manage environment patching upgrades and monitoring
- Manage risks issues and blockers escalation
- Manage team capacity capability and skills
- Oversee end to end onboarding of data pipelines
- Own day to day data platform operations
- Perform platform troubleshooting and optimization
- Plan lead and execute OPEX cost optimization
- Support CI CD pipelines and controlled promotion
