Director of Engineering, AI & Computer Vision
Tasks
- Create engineering processes including design reviews RFCs and on call
- Define technical quality bar and architecture standards
- Deploy and monitor AI models in production
- Design and run evaluation frameworks
- Drive program from POC to production
- Establish reusable AI development patterns
- Implement human-in-the-loop workflows
- Lead AI and computer vision stats pipeline
- Manage cloud data infrastructure and streaming data flows
- Manage external vendors and integration partners
- Partner with product management to co-own roadmap
- Recruit, hire, and onboard engineering talent
- Represent engineering in cross functional leadership forums
- Run technical assessments and hold partners accountable
- Set technical direction and manage engineering delivery
- Translate product strategy into engineering execution
