- Conduct FMEA and fault injection
- Define functional safety and operational safety concepts
- Define interface contracts and performance budgets
- Define system-level architecture
- Drive cross site design transfer to NPI and manufacturing
- Drive risk management and compliance across relevant standards
- Drive systems V model and design reviews
- Lead HIL and SIL testing
- Lead quality systems DFx PFMEA control plans reliability growth
- Lead system integration and validation
- Manage suppliers and integrators
- Own system KPIs for latency power thermal availability safety
- Partner with hardware firmware perception AI controls platform software and cloud teams
- Perform root cause analysis
- Translate product requirements into system specifications
