• Decompose requirements into testable subsystem specifications
• Define functional safety and operational safety concepts
• Define system architecture
• Drive cross site design transfer for NPI and manufacturing
• Drive systems integration
• Ensure IP protection and security by design
• Implement quality systems DFx PFMEA and control plans
• Lead Make versus Buy decisions
• Lead compliance with safety standards
• Lead design reviews and FMEA
• Lead reliability growth and ALT and HTOL
• Manage suppliers and integrators
• Negotiate statements of work and acceptance criteria
• Own system KPIs
• Partner with engineering teams across hardware firmware and AI
• Plan and execute acceptance testing
• Run systems V model and stage gates
• Set performance budgeting and latency jitter targets
• Translate product requirements into system specifications
