Senior Data Engineer
Tasks
- Build batch microbatch and streaming data pipelines
- Collaborate on standards for data quality observability and lineage
- Configure data contracts and freshness SLAs
- Direct AI coding agents for engineering workflow
- Implement Snowflake RBAC and masking policies
- Ingest events with Kafka and Snowpipe Streaming
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines with quality gates
- Manage dbt lifecycle and documentation
- Monitor data quality and triage incidents
- Orchestrate workflows with Prefect on ECS Fargate
- Own AWS infrastructure with Terraform
- Provision Snowflake objects with Terraform
- Review AI generated pull requests and specifications
- Transform data with DBT
- Translate stakeholder requests and push back on architecture
- Tune Snowflake performance and cost
