Tasks
- Analyze and evaluate system improvements optimization development and maintenance efforts
- Build database schema that fits overall system architecture
- Create and update ad hoc queries, scripts, macros
- Develop database structures based on data volumes users distribution response times retention security and domain controls
- Develop database structures for complex systems using queries tables and Open Database Connectivity
- Develop databases database parser software and database loading software
- Develop long term and short term database administration and design requirements
- Perform database system acceptance testing and initial operational capability support
- Support database design development implementation information storage and retrieval data flow and analysis
