Embedded Robotics Engineer
Tasks
- Build behavioral systems with state machines and behavior trees
- Build simulation environments for development and testing
- Conduct field tests with data collection and analysis
- Develop motion planning and control algorithms
- Develop robotics software in C++ and Python
- Generate safe robot trajectories
- Implement perception localization mapping and SLAM
- Implement safety critical patterns watchdog fault detection safe stops
- Integrate ROS and ROS 2 with embedded systems
- Integrate sensor data pipelines
- Maintain robotics technical documentation and runbooks
- Mentor engineers through code review and design review
