Firmware & Embedded Systems Debug Engineer
Tasks
- Analyze stack traces telemetry and diagnostic evidence
- Build PowerShell and Python tools for test automation deployment capture parsing and triage
- Collaborate with firmware hardware validation and systems engineering teams to resolve defects
- Correlate device side behavior with host side captures
- Debug firmware failures using live debugging crash dumps core dumps traces and logs
- Develop test plans for functional regression stress integration and validation testing
- Document defects with reproduction steps logs expected versus actual behavior and evidence
- Execute BVT FVT and automated testing across wired and wireless transports
- Reproduce intermittent issues on prototype hardware and bench setups
- Validate BLE USB pairing firmware updates and device to host flows
