Robotics Software Engineer
Tasks
- Build SLAM and sensor fusion
- Build simulation environments for development and testing
- Conduct code review design review and mentor engineers
- Create behavioral systems using state machines or behavior trees
- Debug real time and concurrent systems
- Develop motion planning and control
- Develop robotics software in C plus plus and Python
- Execute field tests and collect data
- Generate safe robot trajectories
- Implement perception localization and mapping algorithms
- Implement safety critical watchdog fault detection and safe stops
- Integrate ROS or ROS 2 with hardware and embedded systems
- Integrate sensor data pipelines
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks
