Director of Data and Analytics
Tasks
- Collaborate with engineering product and business leadership on data strategy
- Define code review testing and release standards
- Define data and analytics performance delivery and quality standards
- Enable AI machine learning and generative AI ready data pipelines
- Ensure consistent metric definitions and single source of truth
- Ensure data quality lineage and security governance
- Establish data analytics operating model and governance
- Govern pipeline semantic modeling metric and reporting standards
- Hire develop and retain data engineers and analysts
- Identify remove blockers to improve team velocity
- Implement data cataloging classification and access standards
- Lead data engineering and analytics team
- Manage external staff augmentation resources
- Manage technical debt to ensure scalability
- Own delivery timelines throughput and capacity planning
- Partner on data platform analytics architecture and modeling decisions
- Perform performance management and onboarding quality
- Report AI adoption ROI and impact
- Serve as primary escalation point for data and analytics challenges
