Tasks
- Approve robotic cells for shipment
- Coordinate project timing with controls team and production teams
- Coordinate robot programming and buy off robot programs
- Coordinate with process suppliers for special processes
- Drive engineering standards development and deployment
- Execute robot automation projects
- Integrate robots with control systems and PLCs
- Manage project scope, issues, risks, and schedule
- Perform robot simulation and offline programming validation
- Perform root cause analysis
- Select and configure robots for welding material handling dispensing and tool changing
- Train robot programming agency on GM standards
- Validate robotic cells and commission cells
