Tasks
- Assess and mitigate data-related risks
- Define and implement enterprise data governance strategy
- Develop data quality frameworks and remediation processes
- Ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
- Establish data stewardship programs
- Establish governance policies and standards
- Evaluate and manage data governance tools
- Facilitate governance councils and working groups
- Implement and manage enterprise data catalog and metadata management
- Integrate governance processes with data platforms and pipelines
- Lead enterprise data governance continuous improvement
- Maintain data lineage and business glossaries
- Manage critical data elements and data lifecycle
- Partner with business IT and analytics teams for governance adoption
