Tasks
- Build behavioral systems with state machines behavior trees or task planners
- Build simulation environments for development and testing
- Design and execute field tests data collection and analysis
- Develop motion planning control and trajectory generation
- Develop robotics software in C plus plus and Python
- Evaluate emerging robotics technologies and frameworks
- Implement perception localization mapping algorithms
- Implement safety critical patterns watchdogs fault detection safe stops
- Integrate ROS and ROS 2 with custom hardware
- Integrate sensor data pipelines
- Maintain technical documentation architecture diagrams design decisions runbooks operational procedures
- Mentor engineers through code review design review pair programming
