Confluent Kafka Engineer - Development, UAT, and Production Support
Tasks
- Build real time processing with Kafka Streams
- Design and develop Kafka solutions
- Develop Kafka producers consumers and stream processing applications
- Develop and manage Kafka connectors
- Execute UAT plans for Kafka solutions
- Implement monitoring for production issue prevention
- Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters
- Perform patching upgrades and backups for Kafka clusters
- Perform real time processing and analytics with KSQLDB
- Provide 24/7 production support
- Test Kafka Streams KSQLDB and Kafka Connect in UAT
- Troubleshoot Kafka performance latency and data integrity issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects during UAT
- Use Confluent Control Center for monitoring managing and optimization
