Staff AI Engineer
Tasks
- Build RAG pipelines with retrieval and embeddings
- Build and evolve scalable ML platforms pipelines and infrastructure
- Define engineering standards for AI systems
- Design and integrate APIs with internal and third party services
- Drive cost optimization for model usage including caching routing quantization
- Implement responsible AI practices including safety security and reliability
- Lead AI ML system design and implementation end to end
- Lead design reviews and technical discussions
- Lead model development optimization and deployment
- Mentor junior and mid level engineers through coaching code reviews and pairing
- Optimize LLM application evaluation and observability
- Own AI architecture decisions
- Partner with product and engineering to shape AI strategy
- Solve integration problems across research and production
- Translate AI tradeoffs risks and opportunities into decision narratives
