Storage & Data Protection Support Engineer
Tasks
- Assist with storage provisioning and LUN management
- Configure NAS storage and replication
- Configure NetBackup and Acronis backup
- Configure and support storage arrays
- Configure storage on Windows Linux and ESXi
- Coordinate hardware replacements and vendor escalations
- Create and track support tickets
- Handle backup and restore recovery operations
- Handle incidents and service requests
- Manage NAS failover operations
- Monitor Data Domain alerts
- Monitor systems and collect array and SAN logs
- Perform SAN zoning
- Perform diagnostics and escalate issues
- Perform storage vMotion
- Provide L1 L2 operational support
- Provide VMware datastore provisioning and expansion
- Troubleshoot backup failures
