• Apply postage using tabs and labels
• Assist sorter machine technicians with malfunctions
• Follow company policies and applicable laws
• Insert fold and assemble letters and envelopes
• Operate mailing machines
• Perform inventory counts in warehouse and production areas
• Prepare mail information cards for trays
• Process mail to meet postal service standards
• Remove cards manually or mechanically and verify tray contents
• Report operational errors to group leader
• Sort mail by postal codes

• Weigh mail to estimate postage requirements
