Analytics Engineer, Feature Engineering
Tasks
- Collaborate with data scientists to extract features from raw data
- Create features by combining modifying or aggregating existing features
- Develop and maintain datasets using Databricks and Spark
- Evaluate feature quality and impact on model performance
- Maintain curated datasets using Airflow with automated alerting and anomaly detection
- Manage data requirements and minimize technical debt
- Monitor feature drift and update features over time
- Optimize pipeline performance for real time or near real time execution
- Preprocess and transform data for machine learning models
- Troubleshoot data anomalies and pipeline issues
