Associate Product Owner, Data Platforms
Tasks
- Administer and govern Unity Catalog access and lineage
- Build and maintain Azure Databricks enterprise data platform
- Build automation and observability for resilient self healing operations
- Collaborate with data scientists analysts and product owners on data requirements
- Coordinate with cloud infrastructure and security teams for compliance
- Define and enforce data governance data classification PII handling auditing and compliance
- Define data platform standards governance cost controls and enable scale
- Design and maintain production lakehouse architecture
- Design and manage secure cloud networking for the platform
- Develop platform as product solutions for self service data access
- Document data processes pipelines and systems
- Drive metadata cataloging lineage retention and lifecycle management
- Establish dbt transformation framework with testing documentation and CI CD
- Evaluate data vendors and manage technical requirements
- Implement cost optimization and FinOps practices
- Implement data quality frameworks with tests contracts validation monitoring and alerting
- Lead and execute RFP processes
- Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Manage Databricks SQL warehouses clusters and compute policies
- Participate in agile ceremonies and align delivery to goals
- Provide technical leadership mentorship and code review to engineers
- Run production operations with monitoring incident response capacity planning upgrades and SLAs
