Machine Learning Systems Engineer
Tasks
- Architect scalable backend services for media intelligence platform
- Build event driven media processing workflows
- Build vector search indexing and retrieval workflows
- Deploy and operate systems on cloud platforms
- Design processing pipelines for multimedia ingestion
- Ensure reliability with logging metrics tracing and alerting
- Implement asynchronous processing with retries idempotency and dead letter queues
- Integrate AI ML services into backend workflows
- Mentor engineers and lead technical planning
- Monitor production model and system performance
- Optimize metadata extraction and transcription pipelines
- Optimize model inference for latency throughput reliability and cost
- Own backend components end-to-end
- Serve models using model serving systems
