Storage Support System Administrator II and III
Tasks
- Administer enterprise and HPC storage systems
- Conduct system capacity analysis and planning
- Document system configurations and procedures
- Escalate issues and communicate status
- Execute storage deployments upgrades and transitions
- Follow ticketing and change management procedures
- Implement troubleshoot and maintain IT systems
- Lead major incident response
- Lead technical escalation and mentoring
- Maintain accurate system documentation and records
- Monitor storage environments and respond to incidents
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization
- Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 support
- Perform root cause analysis and remediation
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Provide storage environment sustainment support
- Support client server storage and network devices
- Support dispatch operations through resolution
- Support long term capacity planning and optimization
