- Administer CI CD with DevOps teams
- Administer Snowflake warehouses workload access and performance tuning
- Automate monitoring alerting access workflows and housekeeping tasks
- Coordinate capacity planning patching lifecycle management and resource optimization
- Coordinate with security governance architecture and business stakeholders
- Define monitoring alerting logging and dashboarding standards
- Enforce Snowflake security access controls and governance requirements
- Ensure platform availability, reliability, and performance
- Establish problem management practices to reduce recurring incidents
- Implement monitoring alerting logging and backup recovery controls
- Implement operational governance for pipelines datasets data products and platform services
- Lead and mentor data operations and platform support engineers
- Lead day to day data platform operations
- Maintain operational runbooks support models and escalation processes
- Maintain support documentation SOPs runbooks and operational playbooks
- Manage Snowflake environment stability and disaster recovery
- Manage data ingestion processing storage transformation and consumption operations
- Manage incident change and production support adherence to enterprise standards
- Manage incident management triage escalation and post incident reviews
- Manage production changes with engineering DevOps platform and release teams
- Manage vendor performance SLAs and escalations
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud storage compute networking identity data processing and orchestration
- Monitor query performance storage growth and credit consumption
- Operate AWS and GCP data platform services
- Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Promote SRE style reliability and resiliency practices
- Support Snowflake pipelines data loads and production incidents
- Support data pipeline observability across ingestion transformation and consumption
- Track operational KPIs availability MTTR SLA SLO job failures and cost trends
- Use Infrastructure as Code and platform automation
