- Follow Standard Delegation of Orders
- Operate diagnostic equipment
- Organize exam and treatment rooms
- Perform EKG
- Perform capillary blood collection
- Perform equipment quality control checks
- Perform specimen collection
- Perform telephone and in person intake screening
- Perform venipuncture
- Practice infection control precautions
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment with autoclave
- Record patient care documentation
- Remove staples from superficial wounds
- Room patients and prepare for examination
