Medical Assistant WellMed Zaragoza
Tasks
- Assist physicians and nursing personnel
- Collect specimens via noninvasive techniques and venipuncture
- Conduct telephone and in person intake screening for information gathering
- Coordinate patient care with providers and clinical team
- Follow infection control and sterilization procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courtesy service
- Operate diagnostic equipment
- Perform EKGs
- Perform quality control checks on equipment
- Perform wound care including staple removal and dressing changes
- Prepare and sterilize medical equipment using autoclave
- Provide patient care within scope of practice
- Record patient care documentation in medical record
- Room patients and prepare for examination
- Support and follow Standard Delegation of Orders
