Data Engineer - Level III
Tasks
- Align systems with cloud native lakehouse data strategy
- Apply RAG and embeddings patterns for AI enablement
- Architect service layer data access patterns
- Build end to end data engineering pipelines on AWS
- Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews
- Define data architecture standards and governance practices
- Deliver knowledge transfer and documentation handoff sessions
- Design AI ML and generative AI solutions for natural language to SQL
- Design enterprise data models for soil systems
- Develop database recovery runbooks and dependency mapping
- Develop serverless orchestration workflows
- Enforce NIST controls and secure coding standards
- Execute database modernization to AWS RDS Aurora
- Implement AWS DMS full load and CDC pipelines
- Implement Delta Lake standards and performance tuning
- Implement data quality controls and audit ready evidence
- Lead database decomposition of monolithic schemas
- Lead schema versioning and deployment automation with Liquibase
- Maintain audit ready documentation and compliance evidence
- Modernize SSIS ETL to cloud native frameworks
- Provide data migration and AWS troubleshooting and testing support
- Provide senior DBA support for SQL Server and PostgreSQL PostGIS
- Register and maintain schemas and metadata in AWS DataZone
- Support AI assisted analysis for data flow redundancy and schema drift
