- Bring up new peripherals and ensure fail safe implications
- Collaborate with cross functional teams on software module performance
- Conduct pair programming code reviews and design discussions
- Debug peripheral hardware Linux kernel latency and real time safety issues
- Design implement test embedded and Linux controls software
- Develop Linux user space drivers and control data protocols
- Implement and verify deterministic timing and fail safe behaviors
- Implement unit and integration test friendly software design
- Integrate servo drives and optimize control loops
- Perform device failure mode and effect analysis and implement diagnostics
- Test software with and without hardware using virtual fixtures
