Robotics Software Engineer
Tasks
- Build behavioral systems using state machines or behavior trees
- Build simulation environments for development and testing
- Conduct field tests and data analysis
- Develop robotics software in C++ and Python
- Implement motion planning control and trajectory generation
- Implement perception localization and mapping
- Implement safety critical patterns fault detection and safe stops
- Integrate ROS or ROS 2 with hardware and embedded systems
- Integrate sensor data pipelines
- Maintain technical documentation and runbooks
- Mentor junior and mid level engineers through code and design reviews
